[CrackBerry Question]

Hello everyone,

Today I called with my Blackberry Q5 with my mic-headphones on. It worked pretty nice, but when I speak in the mic, I hear my own voice in the headphones : this is really very annoying. Does anyone know I this can be disabled, and how ? I just want to hear my interlocutor. I searched into the Settings for phone calls, there is nothing related to this...

Nice word usage! I haven't seen "interlocutor" used in years.

As to your question, no, you can't change a setting to prevent your voice coming through the headset.

This is driving me crazy too. It happens on Passport, Classic and Z30 too, but for some reason not on the Z10 or Q10. I don't understand how people aren't driven crazy by this. BlackBerry support says it's not supposed to be like this, and supposedly it's a known issue, and even had me send my Z30 in for repair. I just got it back and it's still doing the same thing. They said they would look into it further and call me back on Monday. We'll see what they say...
