    No word on BlackBerry Mobile offering anything like that..... probably won't.

    Most sellers do offer some sort of extend protection, so check with them (Carrier, Retailer). And services like SquareTrade off plans too.

    I'd second squaretrade. Used to have this for my kids' iphones and it worked great. I had to pay up front but ST would have a check to me within a few days. May be different now...its been 3-4 years since I have used them.

    I am hoping for Best Buy. If they sell the KEYone, I would get their cell phone coverage, if similar to their PRIV:

    Note their coverage is based on the cost of the phone... so a $550 KEYone would be more expensive than what's shown for the $300 PRIV in your link.

    I do know it will be more expensive. I merely posted the example to show what their plan includes.
