    Bands are more important; the phone is unlocked, so just get an American SIM and put it in, but network bands aren't the same. The North American P998X phones have LTE bands 2, 4, 5, and 17, while the European/Asian P998X phones have LTE bands 3, 7, 8 and 20. I believe there's enough overlap between network bands to get 2G or maybe 3G service with the European/Asian models in North America.

    Which phone.....

    From memory most would work with AT&T's network. But you'd want to look at that Bands and Frequency of the device you are referring too. And see how that matches up with AT&T or T-Mobile (don't think any of them were CDMA).
