I have a subscription to trimble outdoors and I downloaded the trimble navigation app. I also downloaded some maps to use offline, but the app can't find them when I put them in the SD card. I tried moving them to an android directory in the internal memory but the app can't find them either, the instructions say I must create a folder at the "music" "DCIM" level but I just don't seem get it right. I'm using ghost commander. Where is this directory that android apps read from? Where is this DCIM level? I tried the /mnt/sdcard and /mnt/sdcard/external_sd with no luck. Can anyone help ? Thanks!

Yes Android apps can read your SD card.
The software is telling you to create a folder in Music folder called DCIM = /music/DCIM
I suspect you could create this on either the SD or internal memory.
Your downloads most likely are being stored in the /downloads folder either on your internal or SD card dependent on what you have configured on your BB device.
