    What device, and what OS.....
    What have you tired to do to fix it? Run BBVE (if it works on your phone)? Hard Reboot? Delete any recent apps?

    You might be able to reload just the Camera application... depending on what OS.

    Doing a Security Wipe or Factory Reset would probably do it, but test before restoring any data of applications.

    Accidentally my blackberry q5 dropped from the table and after that the camera isn't starting... I guess this is a hardware issue

    Probable is hardware in that case.... giver BBVE a go and see what it says, and reloading the OS can't hurt.
