Whenever I receive a call from an unknown. Caller my phone rings however it will not ring through my cars Bluetooth system. Not only can I not answer the call it also messes up my Bluetooth as it will no longer work. I have to turn the car off and restart it in order for it to work again. Happens every single time I get a call from an unknown caller. Please help!

    What Car System?

You might get a better reply if you list you Make, Model and Year and any info on the infotainment system being used. As not all are compatible with BB10.

Thanks Dunt. My car is a 2013 Audi A4 with built-in Bluetooth. I have not done any upgrades to my Bluetooth system

First place to check is on your car's site. See if your phone is listed as compatible. It's not 100% accurate, but will give you an idea. But, while on line you can also check to see if any updates are due for your car's system.

Sometimes deleting your car's BT profile in your phone and starting over can help.

Thanks scrannel. Will check the site and see if there are any updates coming. I have a z10 does the same thing. My friend has the z30 and does the same thing with his Jag. Very frustrating!

A Jag? Is his a recent car? I have a 2013 RR Evoque and it uses the same nav/sound setup as recent Jags. I have two Z10s, one on 10.2 and the other on 10.3.2 and they both connect no issue.

Well, as chance would have it, just got a 2015 Jag loaner from the dealer and my Z10 pairs no sweat. Can't understand the Z30 issue...

Pairing is not the issue. Both my z10 and z30 pair fine with my car and work 99 percent of time fine. It all gets messed up when I receive calls that come through as unknown caller. My system locks up I can't answer the call or make any calls afterwards using Bluetooth. I have to turn off my car and restart it to get it to work again.

And not having that issues either. Get unknown callers on a regular basis. You may want to ask your dealer, next time you're in for whatever, to reload your car unit's software.
