Blue tooth not picking up email or text

I am ready to throw my Z10 out my open car Window. My phone is paired with my 2013 BMW. My contacts are all there but no messages of any kind. My husband's Z10 picks up text but no email. My phone did,up to last week pick up everything. There are no new updates for the phone or car. I have deleted and re paired the phone several times. I have re booted many times. Can anyone help? It is a phone problem not a car problem.

That's ok, mine is paired and all I ever get is contacts. Never email, texts or anything else. It makes me angry because it never got those things and its a new car
