After updating my z30 with latest firmware update my phone worked like butter smooth. Absolutely no issues. But now for last 5 days. Suddenly phone started heating up. Battery saving options are unresponsive. Even when I switch to bedtime mode battery saving mode does no longer get activated. I can feel the screen heat up. I even stopped using the cover for the phone. Is this a bug? Really need help. My phone which used to be giving me power for 2 days now struggles to remain for maximum 4 hours. I ve not messed up any settings. Even uninstalled two android apps. Problem still there. Need help urgently.

Shut it down and leave it off until it cools completely then restart it .

Do you have a lot of media on an SD card and have rebooted it recently?

Z30 is outdated now. If you have many program running at the same time, your phone is going to get hot

In my case I think it is a bad software install on my part.

No I don't ve media. Just my use is documents nd mails. I use BBM mostly. Whatsapp hardly as most friends on BBM. Its was working fine. This problem just started recently.

After restoring battery saving mode twice. And turning of battery saving mode and just keeping automatic options on. Keeping bedtime battery saving options on. Kept phone to charge. Actually kept it to overcharge with bedtime on. Morning my phone was back to itself. Now battery saving mode launches when I drag down bedtime mode. Switched off. Kept it for 2 mins. Switched on. Yes its all fine nd working.
