[CrackBerry Question]

Dear members,

I am already using BB Z10 STL 100-1 and I am happy with the performance especially after 10.2.1.3175 but I have seen STL 100-2 and STL 100-3 now and then. Can you guys please tell me what are the differences performance wise and which one is better with reference to network signal strength as I often lose signals on my device.

And yes I love my Blackberry Z10?

the difference comes down to your carrier and the "bands" they support. Who is your carrier?

Stl-1 has no lte while stl-2-3-4 have lte. Also stl-1 is using different cpu and gpu. The cpu of the stl-1 is older compared and slightly slower than the other variants but the gpu is slightly better.

I used to have a STL100-1 before and I replaced it with STL100-2 and I regret it now. Just a bit faster data connectivity, but everything else is better in STL100-1

STL100-1 felt quiet snappier than STL100-2

Stl100-1 is better in everything, battery,cpu,gpu,..
If you check this website : cpuboss.com and compare the 2 cpus(texas instruments omap 4470 and qualcomm snapdragon s4 plus) you will see first one is better

STL100-2/3 has 4G support and different processor.

stl100-2/3 does not have any issues with battery readings as stl100-1 have...

My company has recently upgraded to BB10 enterprise and I just received a black Z10 STL100-1 (running OS 10.2.1.2102) on Rogers. I currently own a white Z10 STL100-3 (running OS 10.2.1.2977) on Fido as my personal phone. I�ve noticed that the STL100-1 seems to run better than my STL100-3. It boots faster, seems quicker in the OS generally, battery life appears to be better, and it feels lighter. My white one has the wifi drop out issue, which I�m hoping is cured in the next update. Currently don�t trust it to not drop the wifi signal and start chewing through my data (also own a Galaxy Nexus which doesn�t drop off wifi on the same connections, so it�s the Z10). Also, the white phone has sporadic odd word prediction errors. For example I�ll start to type �I�m putting..� and it changes �putting� to �pitting� which makes no sense as to why it would choose that. And when I try to replicate the error so I can correct it by up swiping on the correct word it won�t repeat the error. And this happens randomly with seemingly any words. Anyway, those are my impressions of the differences so far and I think I prefer the STL100-1. I�m surprised as I didn�t think there would be any real differences.
