    Your device is probabl originally from a Claro carrier or your network is getting mixed up and ID'ed as Claro.

    If you're reeeeaalllyyyy annoyed buy this, remove the SIM card, do a security wipe, run an autoloader (for your device model) and then place the SIM back in.

    It should notice the network properly.

    All this assuming your device if fully unlocked, that is.
