There are android apps that provide encryption to voice calls, but I don't know that they are more effective than an bbm voice call. One app is silent circle.

OP, just Google it.... It's been proven, you cannot make a secure android based phone.
...at least they're able to build competitve hardware http://www.cnet.com/products/blackphone-2/ whereas we' ll get another S4 device.
