I had a Blackberry since the beginning, I switched to an Android device tow years ago. I needed more useful apps. Hate the phone. I have Verizon for cell service. They only offer the Priv which is frustrating. Is it worth going with the Priv or are there better options coming out soon.

    Thanks for any help

I have the Priv on Verizon and find it a more than reasonable phone. If you want a physical keyboard (pkb) then the Priv is terrific. But hide it away and use the virtual keyboard (vkb). It runs all Android app. I find it runs smoothly but some others have had issues.

The new KEYone introduced in England just yesterday is rumored to be coming to Verizon. It should hit the US by the end of May.

I can also recommend the Priv on Verizon. I have not had any of the issues that have been reported. Had it since launch on Verizon over a year ago. I use the Virtual Keyboard only. Just because it's what I'm comfortable with. It appears that the Verizon version is much better than some of the early versions.

If you're a veteran BlackBerry guy, you'll want to wait for May 31st when you can get the KEYone. Apps, a future with updates, great 4 row keyboard, great battery life.
