    They are pretty much the same phone.... other than the 9810 is a slider. So both were at that time considered a premium BlackBerry (some questioned any comparison to other devices at that time). BlackBerry Torch 9810 vs. BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 vs. Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II - GSMArena.com

    But today.. I think most here would say the 9900 was the better phone.

    Ya the 9900 was a complete workhorse.

    I owned both...loved them both, but overall the 9900 was superior IMO
