They can be found on Amazon and surely on eBay. Just found a listing for the rectangular style for only $16.

The square style with rounded edges (Squircle? ) is much more expensive for some reason. I thought it was the older model but maybe I'm wrong?

Didn't know that. Wonder why the older one is so much more expensive?

I've got the rectangular one, nice little device. It's on my home stereo though as when I tried it in my work truck, I got a lot of electrical noise over the speakers. Not the device's fault; just typical stereo-electrical problems you get sometimes trying to do things like this in certain vehicles.

Hmmm, haven't tried it in my new work truck yet. Might be better considering it's diesel vs. gas, no traditional ignition system to induce noise.

I would say that's your alternator.. that noise..
Or a bad 3.5mm plug connection to the radio?

The old one is mini usb. The new one is micro usb plus nfc.

Just pickup one cheap working great.
Had a BlackBerry Music Gateway with NFC but my daughter nicked that of me so needed a replace and here it is the older BT only version the BlackBerry Stereo gateway.
Actually much nicer look and feel than the later black plastic only one. ;-)
