Due to the recall of ALL galaxy note 7 phones, and the fact that the users will probably not want to switch back to an older model, they will be looking at other makes as a replacement.
Still, without the suicide bombing thing, the Note 7 has more bullet points on the box than BlackBerry's closest competitor, the DTEK60* (water resistance, whatever Samsung OS gimmicks they have, wireless charging, not having the past 10 years of baggage attached to its name, Verizon support, actually existing).
*: the DTEK50 is for a lower segment and the Priv came out a year ago
True. But the Dtek60 assuming it comes and for their price, is not that far off the Note 7 spec wise. And some people don't like the Samsung OS experience.
