You can update the runtime or simply upgrade your OS.

You should really update your device to 10.3.3.x with an autoloader.

There was no runtime update for 10.3.1.

The update was only for the last two released builds of 10.3.2. Specifically, 10.3.2.2876 and 10.3.2.2888.

Even then, it's not really an "update", but a bug fix for the android app un-install bug introduced in those two OS builds.

If you applied the update to any other OS version or build, you just screwed up the runtime and nothing will work.

Do as suggested above and autoload a newer OS. Autoloading a working OS is the only fix for what you did.

Note that an autoloader will wipe your device, so back up any important files first.

Before you use an autoloader you might as well try to upgrade your OS OTA. Just check settings -> software update.

But be sure to back up your device first, there are several comments about the OTA process causing troubles (also I never had any problems by upgrading OTA).

It sounds like the OP already screwed up the OS he has, and it's doubtful an OTA update will fix that (if it will run at all).

An autoloader will wipe the device and install the latest 10.3.3 OS from scratch, along with the latest Runtime compatible with BB10 (4.3, I believe). That's the only way to be sure nothing is left from his previous failed attempts to update just the Runtime.

Since OP is still on version 10.3.1, he/she still has the option to try any 10.3.1 or 10.3.2 Blitz or autoloader.

That said, my opinion is that they should run a 10.3.3.x autoloader.
