Hello!

Can someone please help me?

My Blackberry Priv suddenly is unable to open PDFs. I have never had this problem before, and, in fact, read a PDF just a day ago. I have not made any updates or any changes since, and it doens't seem to make any sense...

Does anyone know what I can check or look into about this?

Just to be thorough, have you tried restarting your phone?

Yes, I have tried to restart my phone. Multiple times, actually; but thank you. I should have specified that I have already done this.

Ok. What app are you using to view pdf files? Go to apps under "settings" and tap "clear data" on the pdf app. If that still doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the pdf app (if possible).

I am not very good with technology. Whenever I ever needed to open a PDF, it would just open, with, I suppose ,whatever was installed with the phone initially. I don't know what is was called, though... I wonder if this was somehow deleted?

What error message pops up when you try to open a pdf file? Posting a screenshot may help in resolving your issue.

Be sure Adobe Acrobat Reader (or some other PDF reader) is installed on your phone.

Yes, this is a good idea! I wish I had thought of it sooner. Here is a screenshot of what happens when I try to open a PDF.

How can I do this? I don't see it listed as an application, but I also do not remember it ever being listed as one previously... Do you know how I can download if needed? Google products and Google Playstore do not work here in China.
