Why don't the BlackBerry use left edge for opening hub directly and the other edge for the things they are doing now (like productivity tab as they call it). I think it should be helpful so we can always have it with just one swipe. I feel it is better than present way of swiping from home button and to the right. I also feel recent apps shortcut should be placed in place of google when we swipe from home button. I feel then it will be close to BlackBerry 10OS. Please post your opinion on this idea.

Isn't swiping up and to the right closer to BB10 than what you describe?

Yes. But in my idea we can have a possibility of peek into the hub as we do in bb10 where as it is not possible in the present way of opening hub
