    It would still be under warranty, and why do you think the battery is dead.

    No, I'm in Venezuela and i bought it in Amazon Usa. It would be too much expensive to send it back to Usa for warranty. The battery does not hold charge anymore, gets hot and got bigger than usual. I can't find a replacement for this battery. I don't know why blackberry does not sell this replacement...

    well your going to have a hard time finding one, maybe look for a used passport for sale and use it for parts.

    I've been looking but those non working/for parts passports but are expensive too.. i've found a replacement in China for 27 bucks. I don't know if it's the solution but i think i'll give it a try
