is there any way to root the android on blackberry passport to use root apks ?

I'm sure many have tried- just because others have said no. But, I haven't seen anything indicating otherwise from the everyday Joe6pac BlackBerry owner here. Check back later, if I'm wrong, you will get 10 responses correcting me.

No rooting of the runtime or the core OS is possible.

OP needs to do some homework ahead of time... would have found that you cannot root a BB therefore no Android root.... Not to mention... not good form to ask how to put pirated apps on your device.....

Android 4.3 in your passport is just an emulator, you can't root it
