On Link, do you backup data from the Device only, or backup data from both SD card and Device?

BlackBerry Link backs up the internal storage of your device. It doesn't back up the SD card .

I think if you select "Custom Backup" > "Configuration", you have the option to select the media card - which is the SD card.

But it's not included under either the Quick or Full backup options.

Sorry, but I was totally wrong. I thought there was an option to back up the SD card when doing a "Custom" backup. But after checking, there is no such option.

Maybe I'm remembering the old Desktop Manager backup for the legacy BBOS. Somewhere there used to be such an option.

Great, I'm having a senior moment - remembering the "olden days"...

    Sorry for the false information.

No worries. I've relayed info I've later had to retract myself - and recently, I might add. Thanks for checking it out for confirmation and the correction.

When you uninstall BlackBerry Link make sure all remnants of the app and drivers are gone. Then reboot the PC. Reinstall both the app and drivers.

Failing that, then try compatibility mode.

I've been lucky and haven't experienced the issues some have reported on my windows 10 computers.
