Follow the instructions in the support bulletin.

    http://support.blackberry.com/kb/art...mber=000028060

...and remember to disassociate your device from the original BBid.
You may need to login to BBprotect to complete that.

If you are trying to access from your device try to do so from a PC or vice versa.

I open up BBM, and there's this notification asking for my BlackBerry ID password, I insert it, and nothing happens

Ignore your BBM for the moment.

Try and login to BlackBerry Protect with your current BBID and password.

If you are unable to do so reset your password as directed in link below.

I've tried resetting my password so many times I still get the same ****, I type my password and it's the same, nothing happens, I even logged into my BlackBerry Protect profile and there's no device associated with it, I really don't know what else to try

If you have logged in to BlackBerry Protect that indicates your password and BBID has not changed.

On your device you need to go in to Settings..BlackBerry id and reassociate your BBID and password with your phone.

It doesn't appear that you were successful on your first attempt.
