My daughters BB 9320 will not start using the power button or switch off. Inserting the battery just seems to turn on the backlight but there is nothing on the screen. I have installed the desktop manager software and it will connect to the device but state that there is a problem. It gives the option to restore the device, but when selected it tells me to switch it off, which I can only do by pulling the battery. It then disconnects and says it can not connect to the phone.

I am currently going to try the restore a nuked phone guide (http://crackberry.com/blackberry-101-lecture-12-how-reload-operating-system-nuked-blackberry) but I dont know where I am supposed to place the new OS.

I have got the apploader up and connected to the phone, but for step 3 nothing shows except the message that the Blackberry Desktop does not have any software for my device. Any pointers?

    Cheers in advance.

you need to download the OS from somewhere here on CB and then install it to your PC. After you do, the Desktop Manager will recognize the installed software for the phone.
