Where did you buy it? If you bought it secondhand, it is possible the keyboard was replaced at some point. I did a few changeouts of my Q10 pkb and some of the lower quality ones weren't a nice white and had uneven lighting also.

It's the whole keyboard not only some keys, including the trackpad buttons

the back lid most likely is blue LED with YAG coating. if for what ever the reason the coating didn't cover all the edge of the LED (mechanical damage, wear out, degradation of YAG, etc etc), you got some blue-ish or purple-ish color (depend upon the which LED it is... normally, blue, purple is expansive... but if replacement part someone use the cheap rejected purple LED, it could happen too... the performance requirement of back lid LED is not that high, compare to the other application). my 1.46 cents.

I've bought it from amazon, it was brand new.. The phone looked brand new though, a screen protector was preinstalled on the screen and on the trackpad aswell (not sure if it should be since it's "new"). On the back there was the plastic peal and on the camera aswell.. I'm not even sure if that's a screen protector or screen peal on the screen/trackpad..

However when the phone is in a dark place, the keyboard backlight looks 99% white... I'm not sure, Please I need some assistance.

if you got cool white LED (blueish), you can't just get it change to warm white... 99% white sounds very good to me. (see the temperature chart on the link).

keep it. 4200 is not bad- within the range. http://www.cree.com/led-components/m...lor_mixing.pdf if i were you.... bluish backlight is not bad looking... (better than yellowish... looks old)... if it is display or flash light , that is different story...(blue make your photo wash out and pale).
