I have a BlackBerry Bold 9780 and when i need to search for something I used to just type in "google.com" in my browser.
Ever since I wiped off my Log to make my BlackBerry faster I have been redirected to a Google website made for Indonesia even though I live in Fiji. To wipe off my log I followed this procedure whereby you have to hold the alt key and type in lglg which is "/"/
Please help me. It is a habit to go to google and then search something so it is a bit awkward. My service provider is Vodafone. the procedure was on YouTube and it works for ALL BlackBerry's. Look it up on YouTube if you don't know what I am talking about. Something else I am finding strange. A sign appears on the top right hand corner of my screen while I am typing. Is it something to worry about?

So wait a minute. You did this to yourself to make your phone better. but now it's not and we have to fix it? Maybe it doesn't work for ALL BlackBerries.
Reload your OS. That will fix it.
Or figure out how to locate the "correct" Google and set it as the default when you open your browser.
