Yes it works. But some apps doesn’t work today. No updates. No support. But you can download on google.com MAPS jar. So you have a updated google maps on your old BB Phone. I use a 9790 and it works perfect :)

You can still use it for calls and texts, mms, especially since no BIS. Data will work, only websites won't load correctly or at all.
