Dear community, i have a question regarding data security.
one of the main reasons why I bought a blackberry, is that it doesn't has the collecting mania of other phone software companies, like google.
My question is now: should the day come, where I switch to blackberry android, will I still be protected from the google data engine? Or is there literally no difference between regular android phones and a blackberry?
I mean blackberry is promoting itself with "the most secure android version ever".
In my eyes secure has to do a lot with companies not collecting my personal data.
    Will blackberry cover that?
    Thanks in advance.

No its a GOOGLE Android phone by Blackberry. That said if you value your privacy you'd probably not be using websites or your credit card either. Blackberry with Android is more about getting infected with malware and by that measure its very good if not the best.
