Everytime I type in the keypad the letter X, it becomes a letter xp which i find it hard to type a text mesages.

Something I find to be a bit disturbing is how people just can't say enough about their Blackberry yet don't seem to understand the concept of how to care for a quality product.Mention the idea of ":cleaning" it, will get the same hostal reaction of suggesting using the "HELP" app!
Those little spaces between the keys build up with dust and oils from your fingers. Always have a can of condensed air on hand to keep all those hard to get to places .
The fact that the X and the P are practically on opposite sides of the keyboard is a minor detail. But, I guess I have the advantage of offering a reply
Just keep in mind, while I have lots of idea, most of 'em don't work.
Question: If you type the "P" first does the X still appear?
And when you say "everytime" do you mean EVERYtime since the first time or everytime after the first time it started to do this..
while I don't want to startle you and say I just don't know, I can say I can't remember which may make you hopeful that my memory will come back but in the meantime, do you have the ability to program your keys with shortcuts?
If not, you could perhaps manually create a shortcut by switching some of the keys around.
If you somehow get nothing useful out of this... I wanted you to know this being the weekend, you might not get a reply til monday and I didn't want you to think you were being ignored..
In the event you don't get any other replies, that usually means I must have said something right or the others know even less than i do.
Of course you know i'm kidding around. And while I do know quite a bit I found that the other guys always wanted to beat me up if i knew too much.
You should give out more details! Anyway a temporary solution could be to create a shortcut where "x" becomes "x", or an automatic substitution of the pseudo-diphthong "xp" with "x" (although you'd end up messing up words like "experience" or "expected").
Perhaps the x is set to substitute into xp?
