I'll be in Moncton next week. What are some of the best Maritime beers to try? Nothing too heavy.

Thanks. I already regularly drink Moosehead here at home. It is my go to, along with Stella and Heineken and sometimes Keiths.

I like Cracked Canoe if I want something light.

But go to the Pump House. Awesome craft beers.

Pump House is awesome. Went there last year. Pizza was pretty good too IIRC.
I do like the samplers as I had a few, but I don't recall many of the names lol.

    Moosehead is good.
    Alexander Keith's as well

But, if possible... grab something from some of local microbrews.. Not sure if they will be available in NB.

Garrison Brewing - Irish Red Ale.
Propeller Brewing - Organic Blonde Ale
Nine Locks Brewing - Dirty Blonde or ESB

Awesome. Thanks. I now recall having had a beer from Propeller Brewing. Gonna be there all next week so lots of chance to sample a few.

    Beer that's wet. J/k

The Maritimes is the easternmost part of Canada. Lots of local breweries there.

I prefer good Ole Budweiser (regular, not light). Also Bass and Harp. Mmmmmm. My new favorite is Sam Adams Cherry Wheat beer. It's delicious.

Keith's is good. There used to be a brewery by the name of Garrison that was good. Another one used to be Propeller. If the Maritime Brewing Company is still around it used to have some good selections also.

Edit: looks like someone also already mentioned most of these.

I single out Newfoundland because apparently since we are on an island we aren't good enough to be included in such a group.

My grandfather came from McCallum and family in surrounding areas. I've never had the pleasure of going yet.

Wow, very close to where I grew up . I'm originally from the small town of Burgeo just to the west of mccallum. My uncles and grandfather all fished the grand Banks off the shores of mccallum and hermitage
