I'm gonna be doing my cross country journey from newfoundland to Alberta in a couple months, where can I get the best donair? Which side of the bridge is best?

I'll be keeping a record of my favorite food places this time. But when I lived in fort mac the lebanese guys would always ask me if I wanted my donair halifax style cause I'm an east coaster lol

I don't think pizza corner is quite what it used to be so there is a chance you'll find the best now somewhere else. Nothing used to beat that place beside the church where they kept the donairs in the back, grazing on the side of the hill. Their numbers dwindled over the years and I get the feeling most places were using substitutes for the last decade or so. Then again, everything is artificial now a days isn't it?

Sounds good. But yea I've only ever heard great things about donairs there. If you type donair into Google. Half of the results show halifax

Its pretty close to a Gyro except the sauce is sweet and savoury at the same time, which is way better than it sounds.
Great neck filler after beer.

WTF, KOD is gone! There hasn't been Donair beasts in corrals on the side of the hill for years but now the KOD itself is also gone!

It seems that the Quinpool Road one is still open, and a couple of other locations now also around Halifax. Pizza Corner one however is gone.
