Hi,

The bed side mode on my Z10STL100-2/10.2.1.3175 won't activate regularly. Trying the n-th time (n in [3 to 7]), it does eventually.

It does not matter, which way I activate it: by pulling from the top bezel or by selecting from the quick settings. I execute the command, the black "curtain" rolls down, it stays on for two-three seconds (black) and then rolls up. I try a couple of times and it works eventually and the night clock appears.

This issue appeared on the 10.2.1.2141 built earlier, like two times in three months, but since the update (on the date of release), it became rather regular.

Any thoughts, please?

Have you tried a battery pull?

An OS Reload, or even side loading a new clock .bar file may even be a quicker solution.

Dear Dylan,

I'd like to avoid intrusive actions, such as a battery pull. I haven't seen this method suggested often, and never on the BlackBerry Support Forums. But I did restart the OS already several times on several days.

Hmm, side-loading a pre-installed app is another thing, which I'd like to avoid. But I'm about to consider it seriously, if there are users confirming a change in behavior, or reporting a better version of the clock app. Can you cite such source, please?
