I don't know the answer to your question specifically, but what has fixed 99% of my trickiest problems is to entirely wipe the phone to nothing with BBSAK and then reload the OS. In the worst cases I only have reloaded the most critical databases from a restore (like contacts and such) so that I don't accidentally reload the bug.
