Hello forum!

We have two Blackberries in the family, a Q10 and a Z10. Lately they have both stopped sending messages on BBM while we are out and about (connected to a mobile network).
Everything else works (Whatsapp, browsing, email, Facebook). Even BBM Video works, but sending messages does not.

Did Blackberry re-implement the silly BIS requirement for even BB10 devices?
Cause we do not have BIS as our carrier does not provide such plans.

We've tried all the regular things; rebooting, wiping and so on.

And for the record, sending messages in BBM works on this network on Android using the same Blackberry ID.

Is this a known problem or is it just us?? :-)

There is a new update out for BBM , do a hard reset after you install and then go into settings / about/ then hit the drop down go to hardware , hit the menu bottom left and register , try this
