    Heylo all....i have made so many friends install BBM in their android and ios. But even after making them update to the latest versions, messages doesnt get delivered to them unless they open the app. Why cant BBM work like whatsapp which gets real time message delivery without opening the app??
    Is there anything to be done in these phones to get this right??
    And if yes, whats it??
    And if yes, why is it so?? Y cant BBM work in real time delivery of messages just like whatsapp?

    Save yourself the trouble... Use WhatsApp instead of BBM. BBM sucks on other platforms.

    I dont want to go back to whatsapp...so I was importing everybody to BBM giving them hope of BBM getting better in the next updates...but it still sux...but not with everybody btw. I enjoy everyday voice call with family and to be frank, its crystal clear...
    I in my 2G net and my family in wifi.
    Seems no trouble with my family, but with many friends messages doesnt get delivered....and sometimes 2 out of 6 msgs gets delivered after they switch on their data if it was kept off.

    I don't know about Apple, but BBM works as well on my Priv as does on my BB10 devices.

    BBM sucks on iOS. I've gone back to Whatsapp and suggest you do also. If you don't want to, for whatever reasons you have, start texting again. BlackBerry has as much interest in improving cross platform BBM as they do in improving the native FB experience on BlackBerry 10.

    Mostly no doubt in BB10 devices. But other devices its not working good. Especially when they open BBM not so frequently. When it is being opened on a daily basis, it works good!
