Hi. I had this issue with my BBM app, it's was working all great, but now I can't send or receive any message unless I connect it to a wi-fi network. Otherwise I keep having the 'clock' logo, does anyone have a clue about this please.
P-s : I have a 3g data, and BBM used to work perfectly.
Call your carrier and make sure your account is setup correctly. Some carriers still need to provision the account for BlackBerry service, even for BB10.

Actually that is incorrect, any data plan should work unless the carrier is blocking BBM purposely.
It used to work properly before. I still don't understand why it stopped just like that...I didn't change anything I'm my settings.now it's just on wi-fi that I can use Bbm

That is correct, though the carrier may not be blocking because they want a BlackBerry plan on the account. For Canada, there is no price difference. In other regions there is.
For example, our Bell account shows BlackBerry provisioning on the account. Our Rogers account doesn't. Now that we can change out APN, I think you can side step the issue by using the same APN as BlackBerry devices.

Robsteve, I'm not trying to start an arguement here, but I work in the BlackBerry NOC in Waterloo and while I am not an official representitive of BlackBerry and opinions are my own, I know for a fact that BB10 Provisioning no longer exists. Any data plan should work unless the carrier is specifically blocking the BBM connection, or there is some other issue.
OP if you would like to PM me your PIN I can check if there is anything on the BlackBerry side that would be preventing this from working.
