    I don't even use this cursed application and yet it has activated itself again and is draining my battery in short order today.

    I had this problem a number of months ago and someone had suggested a solution to deactivating BBM, but I can not remember or find my notes on what to do. Can someone help me, please?

    Please disregard this thread. I found the cause (a permission was changed and that caused the drain). Although it is baffling as to how the permission was changed by itself through the night.
