    Hi I bought an imported q10 and I knew that BBM won't work but I didn't knew that blackberry protect also don't work,
    Is there any other way to get these applications work cause these are the ones which blackberry is famous for

    OK. Have you assigned your BB ID to the phone? You can try updating your BBM first.

    Sound like you're not connecting to the BlackBerry infrastructure. In the upper right, where your network icons appear, do you have the BB Icon appearing?

    Was this device used in a corporate setting? Attached to an enterprise account or something?

    I remember having this problem. All you need is to insert a sim. You don't need data enabled at all. You can also keep the mobile network off, you just need the sim inside. I can't remember whether it will keep working if you take the sim out again.
