    Maybe the contact you're trying to contact is no longer a contact.
    Try sending them a quick bbm message. You'll likely get a notice that you are no longer a contact of theirs and you'll need to resend an invite.

    Looks like a pretty serious issue with the BBM update. Anyone else finding their contact list is unreachable till refreshed invites are sent?

    Could be something else, but certainly could be this.
    ... unless I'm the only one seeing this contacts are no longer contacts issue...
