[CrackBerry Question]

just saw this here on the forum:
"A BlackBerry ID is required for using BBM, app purchasing and activating the anti-theft service (BlackBerry Protect)."
i'm not intending on using those for now(maybe later on),
do i still need an id?
i think that when i did the initial setup after turning the device on for the first time which was yesterday,i was told that i have 5 days to do it?

Whatever you signed in with when you set it up IS your BBID.

I try my question here bcs. in the Torch 9810 section nobody is looking in any more...understandable.
I am using the Torch without BIS, just with an plain provider plan, and it works just fine for me.
The SIM I am using currently in the Torch I also need for an other device.
As I red that the BB-ID will be a kind of "stored" on the SIM, I never signed up to an BB-ID, Pin, BB-messenger etc., afraid that afterwards I cannot use that SIM in an other device anymore.
Is that true? Is BB-ID "marking" the SIM in that kind of way?

No that's not true. Signing in with a BBID doesn't do anything at all to your SIM card.
