This is weird. Very weird. For some reason I can watch Netflix on my Q5 no problem via the Android App on BB10.2.1.
But for some reason, on BB10.3.1.1949 update, it won't even load up when on Wifi. But works fine on my BELL network.
So in order to make it work, I need to disable WiFi, then play the movie then turn on WiFi.
Why on earth wouldn't it work via my WiFi? Wondering if others have this problem. And not sure if my BB10.3.1 version is an older version. Perhaps the official update will fix this annoying issue.
I'm no expert, but am having similar issues with my Z30 on 10.2.1. When I was signing up the other day it said I had to upgrade my browser to Microsoft Silverlight(?). Anyway it wasn’t going to let me go any further. Today I tried it on the TELUS mobile network and it works fine. Haven't had a chance to try again in the Wifi. Strange.
BB10.3.1.1949 update is an older version. The official version should resolve any issues. If not delete Netflix and re-install It after you perform the official update.
Humm nothing was resolved with the newer update.
Error Code 12001 when I am logged in and trying to view a movie via WiFi.
Also get an error when I am connected to WiFi: trying to sign in. Here is what it says.
" Please make sure your device has network connectivity, and the Date and Time are accurate "
As soon as I disable WiFi, all works well. Never had this issue with 10.2.1.
May have found the issue over Wifi. Seems using software such as Blockless and Un-Blockus may affect Netflix since the new BB10.3.1 update. Its the individuals right to choose how he views what he pays for, Netflix.
