    I want to be able to glance at my phone (keeping it unlocked) and see if I have a text message or what's app message without the need to go into the message shortcut on homescreen to see if any new messages! In my blackberry 9900 this appeared without hassle, blackberry keyone I don't have this. The led notification lights at top do not help me at all, I like to see the badge lights appearing on individual icons. Doesn't have to be a counter just an indicator to show new message. Does anyone understand me! This is such a frustrating problem and to have paid nearly 500gbp for a phone not to have this is very annoying. Can someone help please I would be forever in your debt!

    Settings>Display>Ambient Display. Turn it on.

    Also, Settings>Notifications> you can adjust which apps you want to show on the lock screen and/or the amount of data they show.
