    Was wondering if you were aware of the issue that many of us are having with our AT&T Priv's not being able to install the August security update.

    The BLUF is the phone says there's an update, you download and install the update, get and "The software update could not be installed" error message...and then nothing (some get the "check for updates" option greyed out, so they can't check again. Others can check again and the phone says there's no update. Others have been prompted multiple times to install the update...only to have it fail each and every time.)

    AT&T doesn't acknowledge that there's any known problem with the August security update.

    Blackberry support seems to only want to suggest doing a factory reset (which totally screws the user, and doesn't fix the underlying problem)

    How do we get the attention of someone who A) knows something about this B) can do something about this and C) gives a crap about this?

    Have heard a few people with the issue. On the both of them to get it fixed. Not sure how to get it fixed, but I'll see what I can find out. DTEK60 was having issues as well but that appears to be fixed.
