I'm seeing more and more apps (especially Android apps) that require access to your location, contacts, etc. without the option to turn those permissions on/off. Basically it's take it or leave it, and if you don't allow access you can't use the app.

Any way to selectively block access to certain things from such apps but still use them? I don't care enough to say, disable GPS or vault contacts, etc., but if there were a way to control permissions for those apps that don't give the toggle on/off option, that would be great!
    Thanks for the help!

The issue is not one we can control. Is take it or leave it. Leave is more my taste unless better permissions begin to appear.

    Somewhat manageable: http://forums.crackberry.com/android...ssions-932484/

The specific app being discussed may be gone, but there are more you could download that allow access to App Ops.

Keep in mind though, App Ops only allows you to edit certain permissions, not all.
