Has anyone run in to a file that IS known by BlackBerry to contain malware? Also, the way this is written, it sounds like the file being looked at isn't in their database and not something they are scanning live.
Anyone know more about the service from BlackBerry?

They definitely scan it live - if you try to install an APK without an Internet connection, the Guardian Report won't be available.
Perfect! I've installed several ApK's and have never seen anything other than "not known to BlackBerry " so was curious. Glad to see its a scan and not a database as well as a live scan. Thanks Crack berry nation .

BlackBerry guardian is only available in 10.3 or later.
