Is anyone having any success using Apollo, the Pandora client? A few weeks ago I starting having issues with the app stalling between tracks - but eventually advancing to the next track. Now each track stalls just before the end of the track, usually with about 10 seconds left. You have to manually advance to the next track which also stalls. I considered deleting and downloading again, but it appears the app is no longer in BBW. I'm not sure if there was an issue with Pandora, but I never saw an announcement regarding the Dev pulling the app. Anyone else experiencing these issues?

    *****UPDATE*****

    From the developer's website :

Mine is working fine. Are you on BB10? Pandora app from Amazon Appstore works fine, if you're cool with using the Android version.

I did load the android version and it's OK. Seems to have way more ads than I recall, and I'm still trying to figure out the menus. It's been a while since I used the mobile pandora app.

My Apollo stopped functioning without changing stations between songs. Just noticed it today for first time. Removed and reloaded, same result. Deleted totally and went to BlackBerry World to do full reload but no joy! It is definitely gone. Went to Amazon and downloaded my first Android ap...Pandora for android on BB10, what a POS. It is a battery hog! Apollo would run all day with no noticeable accelerated battery discharge. Run Pandora a few minutes and the battery drain bends down appreciably. Couple that with 30 seconds between songs makes it unacceptable to me.

Don't know if a paid subscription would be more acceptable or not...even so, $5 a month is a bit much.

Really disappointed to loose free stuff! Apollo worked great but the android solution is not acceptable. Looking for alternative.

The Pandora app does the same thing too stalling between tracks and there is a buttload of ads almost to the point of one song, one ad. It's annoying as heck

Using Pandora on Mac this morning and it is just as it used to be via Apollo on Z10...a few adverts and quick transition between tunes. Problem must be with Android app to BlackBerry 10 OS conversion. Android sucks and is not the solution for this app.

My issues started with the native Apollo app. It worked fine until a few weeks ago. The android app is what I'm stuck with for now. The curious part is that Apollo is no longer available in BBW. I've gotten no response from the developer.

I switched to iHeartRadio awhile ago as its Built for BlackBerry and works with all of the BlackBerry controls (pause and volume button track skip). If I recall correctly, Apollo was a port from WebOS and did not integrate as well as iHeartRadio does. I've since found that I actually prefer it over Pandora on all of my devices.
    End of commercial

I will have to try iHeart on z10. Have it on the Mac but generally prefer music I select. It should be much better that android Pandora on z10 if it don't eat the battery.

Yes, but let me know if it stalls near the end of that track. That's been the issue.

I have iHeart, but as you mention, Apollo/Pandora is better at selecting your own music. Particularly with Apollo (with no ads), you can conceivably create a station from any song that plays - even within a given station. That basically gives you unlimited skips for the original song you created the first station with. Switching to the "substations " was faster than listening to an add, and it's all the same genre. The loss of Apollo takes away my little work-around!

You must be the lucky one. Just tried again. Stops with 7-10 seconds left each time. Just curious - do you still see Apollo in BBW?

Installed iHeart...works great with understood limitations. It is not a battery hog like android Pandora. IHEART will work for me since Apollo is TU.

No I don't see it anymore on bbw. I never really did like it anyways. I don't like the interface. I prefer Pandora myself. I rarely use Apollo.

As far as the battery issue I never realized that Pandora eats up more battery. I'm gonna have to look into that.

I used Apollo a lot and it did not cause my z10 accelerated battery discharge but the android Pandora sure did.

Check out Apollo for BlackBerry 10 (Pandora Radio Client) in BlackBerry World! You can find it at http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/25225873

I still see it... But I had it installed already so I could be mistaken.

I was able to delete and in install with this link, but I still have the stall issue. Looking at the reviews, lots of people have the same issue. Another issue I forgot to mention is that Apollo sometimes plays two tracks at the same time after extended use. I haven't had that issue lately because of the stalling.

Pandora considers the use of Apollo a violation of their TOS (according to the comments) - maybe that has something to do with it.
