    I have a garmin Glo bt gps that I use while driving offroad for better signal when cover is heavy and I'd like to use it if i switch to the keyone.

    Cell phones rely heavily on cell towers to know were they are, stick with what you know

    The last time I paired a BB phone with a Bluetooth gps unit was my 8830. I did that because Verizon would not enable the unit's gps unless you paid to use their gps/location service. That was about ten years ago. Unfortunately, I cannot test it since the battery in that wonderful gps died.

    I'm not sure you can disengage the internal gps in the keyone? I'll ask this: If you turn off location in the
    KeyOne, can it find your location using an external gps or is it OFF for all purposes?
