    The question says it all.
I've noticed that my beloved blackberry keytwo is starting to slow down a lag a bit.
I've shut the phone down, restarted it, but nothing seems to be doing the trick.
Even rare occasions the phone temporarily freezes.
Any suggestions on how to fix?

You clear the app caches weekly?

A factory reset once or twice a year doesn't hurt either.

I do quite frequently as a matter of fact; especially since this began.
mine seems to be a connectivity issue. Whether connecting to data or Wi-Fi, the connection shows up good but ÷tops working until I disconnect and reconnect (or wait it out).

    How do I clear cache?
And I think factory resetting the device too many times causes too many problems rather than solutions

Go to settings, apps, select each app (one by one), select storage and then clear cache (not data).

Or pay for SD Maid Pro and have it run as scheduled once weekly. Keeps my BE running as well as the day I received it in Jan of '19. B1aze recommended in a post and the app works very well and is actively supported.

Yes. I've used it too for a long time.

Just wanted to confirm it had an effect on his device before complicating matters.

What are the ramifications of clearing the cache of each app?

Does this wipe out saved login info?

A great reliable and free app from HTC.
I used it a lot for my old Galaxy S7 Edge.

Just cleans the cobwebs. Nothing is deleted.

I've never see an app apart from SD Maid that actually goes into each and every app cache (with simulated key strokes) to clear them.

"clear data" is I think also selectable, which will I think clear login info.

Yes. But it's a great alternative to uninstalling and reinstalling an app, as it essentially does the same thing.

When I started the Pocket as my phone, having a snappy fsat system, after all it's android 11, that plus the size and battery life convinced me it is actually an improvement over my KeyONE even with its slight drawback on keyboard style. Still a gamble on the Jan22 transition but oh well. I wasn't having problems with the KeyONE yet but there is a big difference. I have a slab phone to use for when i want to see a bigger screen.
