The Priv is my first real smartphone. I know, I know - I clung to my "old man phone" forever! I really love it, but it reminds me of old Windows PC's: a hundred programs pre-installed on it, and they're given the impression of being vital to the phone.

Can I safely uninstall every single thing that came pre-installed on the phone? (I bought it from shopbb.com and haven't put in a SIM card yet) Or are there some things that the phone needs to actually function (or are very, very important/good)?

There are a number of general apps that you can uninstall, but many that you can't.... in that it really won't let you just uninstall them. You can go an stop some of these and disable them, but that won't remove them (I've disabled a number of things..... All the Amazon stuff, Carrier related items).

But before doing any of that... I'd take some time to see what each does. Maybe, just maybe they could be of use?
