    If you are using whatsapp for android you should install an app call waa fixer by ninja cell that app will fix the sharing files feature in whatsapp, but you can only send files from your internal memory, the one files that are in the external sd card you cant send it, so you'll have to move the files to the internal memory, its not a big deal.
    You can install the waa fixer from beta zone or
    You can to sideload it using sachesi https://db.tt/KXHDPR5y
