    Try a hard reset (press volume keys until phone restarts) and start the app after the OS is completely loaded. If it takes some time, leave it and wait. Maybe the Amazon Appstore want to install an update for the Appstore. This can take some time. I had the same problem, and after several restarts it worked. Android is still a bit buggy, although OS 10.3.2. fixes a lot of issues I had with Android runtime.

    Are you on OS 10.3.2. ?
